It seems to me that the lexicon has been a huge influence on all of us and has created numerous daughter sites....

The site has just be trolled and hacked...

I don't know about everyone else but it seems the admins and mods are getting a hard time for running such a fab site and maybe like the campaigns for socks for mike etc. a campaign should be started to support and show the love for the lex?

Anyone have any ideas? or think i'm mad?

We should definately do something but I really don't know what. I'm not very creative...

I'm not embarrassed to say that I feel slightly lost in the Twilight world without it. It was the place that I went to for everything (news, discussions etc.) so I was shocked to find out that people hacked it.

My brain is mush so I can't think of anything at the moment but we should definetly do something.

Ok so I'm probably going to get slated for this but here goes anyway.
Even though I like the Lexicon and find the information they have interesting and engaging I take issue with their censorship and quashing of any negative feed back relating to the books, in particular Breaking Dawn.
I am one of the on the fence people regarding Breaking Dawn but I do think that all opinions are valid as likes and dislikes are a very individual and personal things. I don't agree with the politics of the Lexicon and think that if they allowed for all opinions to be welcomed that an interesting and lively debate could be had about the final books. Anyway that's just my 2 cents, sorry if I'm babbling!

Canadian Alice - i am of the same opinion. I support the staff of the lexicon - as in that i support that they have a website they have built from scratch and it shouldn't be distroyed. Now i have to say my time on the lex has dwindled recently has i have found the host index - which is more 'free' with rules in regards to opinions.

i agree about debate - once upon a time i believe the lex probably could have been like that but with 10,000 plus members - maybe not. anyhow not the point.

I'm just showing my support for the staff in their hour of need etc.

I haven't been online in ages as I've been travelling and just recently came home from Canada (sigh! But you know Ireland is cool too!) so I only saw your response tonight. It's nice that someone agrees with me and I think that it's great that you want to do something nice for the Lex people. I might not totally agree with their politics but I still think it's a great site and it's always the first one I go to when I need a Twilight fix. Who knows maybe once the movie comes out we'll get some more people on here for some fun discussions
